Investing heavily in the regional distribution of major studio productions as well as independent movies, Gulf Film further expanded its industry profile through the creation of the Grand Cinemas Group.
The leading movie distributor in the region, holding the no.1 (Titanic) and no.2 (King Kong) spots of all-time releases in the UAE, Gulf Film is responsible for the lion's share of Arabic and English titles across the Middle East, with movie sources ranging from American principals such as Universal, Paramount and Dreamworks to independent filmmakers such as Spyglass, Mandate, Morgan Creek, Arclight, Summit, Hyde Park and Lionsgate, among others. Gulf Film Group distributes and exhibits over 200 titles per annum.
